HFLS has just been butchered by the Donkeys in charge at the education department. The school which produces some of the finest students in China, and certainly the best in the province, has been deemed too successful by the incompetents in charge and measures will be taken to ruin it.
They say the school is too big so it will be reduced in size from 11 classes per grade to just 4. They say the school has access to too many smart kids so its catchment area will be reduced to just Hangzhou city. They say the students are too intelligent so they will abolish the entrance exam and allocate places on a lottery basis. They say the school is too beautiful, so it will move from it’s current campus to another.
I say the person in charge is a complete idiot and imbecile who has no idea about education or the need to reward excellence not just manufacture robot students.
The reputation and name of HFLS in time will come to mean nothing as the students will be just average kids from Hangzhou and the great teachers will find there is no reason to stay at such a mediocre school and will move on. Hangwai is dying. Congratulations to the Chinese education department which, along with mass producing rigid test machines incapable of free thought and common sense, has now destroyed the only glimmer of hope for a new way of education. Bravo dickheads.
